About LakeshoreLakeshore Hockey Arena has been the main hub of hockey in the Rochester community since the early 1970's. Bruce Rizzo, celebrating his 30th anniversary of ownership has provided a fun, family-oriented, hockey and skating enviroment for the community to enjoy. Basic skating skills are taught in a fun, activity filled, atmosphere based on USFSA Snowplow Sam, hockey skills and basic skills 1-8. Our focus is to build confidence, learn fundamentals, become comfortable on the ice and have fun. Each 50 minute session includes instruction in a group setting and practice time.Registration Advanced registration by mail or in person is required to guarantee placement Registrations are taken on a first come basis. Each program is designed to teach the fundamentals and basic skills of skating at that level.Page 13AboutThe program will focus on teaching strong skating skills, strong hockey fundamentals and increasing the confidence level of every skater.Skaters have the choice of skating once or twice a week.
